The 2024-2025 Cary Housing and Community Development Block Grantees shared breakfast with Councilmembers then attended the kickoff training in August to learn about the next steps in their grant process.
Earlier this year, the Cary Town Council approved the 2024–2025 Cary Housing and CDBG Annual Action Draft Plan, awarding 15 grants to 11 Cary nonprofits and developers working in the housing sector.
These funds will facilitate the construction of 226 new affordable housing units and the preservation of 29 existing affordable homes.
