• Stable Homes Cary

In partnership with NeighborUp (formerly Dorcas Ministries) as the lead nonprofit organization, the Stable Homes Cary Program offers support to Cary residents with housing-related concerns, including support for relocation and counseling on family matters related to housing instability.

The services support residents in understanding their choices and considering a path forward through individual needs assessment and counseling.

Program Description

  • Individual counseling/case work to create a customized readiness plan encompassing housing counseling, goal setting, identifying resources and offering partner referrals.
  • Financial and food assistance, career coaching and job readiness training, opportunity for affordable clothing/housewares shopping, temporary emergency housing.
  • Relocation Assistance to tenants notified by their property owner that relocation is required.
