CDBG Consolidated Plan

The Town of Cary’s 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan identifies and prioritizes housing, community and economic development needs and strategies, focusing primarily on the needs of low- and moderate-income residents. The Plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as part of the funding process for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The statutory goals of the Consolidated Plan are to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment and economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents. The 2020 Action Plan outlines how the Town will use grant funds from HUD in 2020.

Annual Action Plans
Every year, the Town of Cary provides an update on the Five-Year Consolidated Plan. To give this update, staff must submit an Action Plan. The Annual Action Plan provides information on the progress we are making to meet the needs and goals identified in the Consolidated Plan. The Annual Action Plan also serves as an application for funding from HUD for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
