The primary focus of these initiatives is to support competitive workforce development programs and policies to help all Cary residents be on career paths to economic security.

With our Economic Opportunity program, all Cary residents can reach financial security.
Empowering through Finances
Cary has launched its first job training initiative with Passage Home Job Training. This initiative helps Cary residents earn certifications for positions in leading employment industries and includes job placement after graduation from the program.
Job Training
Our model pairs job seekers one-on-one with mentors to understand their situation and unique barriers to self-sufficiency. The program helps job seekers overcome challenges with childcare, transportation, housing, food assistance, and education. The program is free to all qualifying Cary residents.
This initiative offers a large variety of professional programs and certifications to further your career goals. Training classes are provided during the day, evening, and online.
