Cary’s draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is open for public comment from September 2-16. Community members are welcome to provide comments in several ways, including via a public meeting held by staff on September 8, email, mail, or phone. The CAPER reports on activities performed with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and their progress towards annual and five-year goals. Public Hearing: 2025-2030 Consolidated Plan & 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan

Cary has prepared the draft 2025-2030 Consolidated Plan and draft 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan. We want your input! From March 24, 2025 through April 24, 2025, the draft 2025-2030 Consolidated Plan and the draft 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan are available for public comment. During the thirty-day comment period, Citizens are encouraged to provide their comments to help guide the investment of this critical housing funding. The draft plans can be viewed electronically by visiting the link below. Print copies may be requested by emailing caryhousing@carync.gov or calling 311 (919-469-4000 if outside of Cary).
